There's a quick and easy way that YOU and YOUR FRIENDS can help raise additional funds for the Trust - and that is by doing all your internet shopping through the Spend & Raise shopping mall.
By simply clicking on the link BEFORE you do your shopping, you can go to over 150 online retailers who will all give the Trust useful commission for all transactions made by accessing their sites.
Over the last five years, the Supporters Club and now the Trust have raised over £6k from the scheme, with over £5k of this raised in just the last 3 years.
No matter what you are looking to purchase, you will probably be able to pick it up from one of the retailers available through the link and it wont cost you a single penny more than if you had gone to the retailers site directly, and as you'd expect from online shopping, there are even special deals that are only available online too!
There's all the choice you'd exprect to find too! Most product categories are covered by a number of different retailers - so you can shop around and look for the best deal to suit you!
The actual retailers available change from time to time, but with the recent name change (the scheme was formerly known as Buy-at), there are more stores than ever available at the touch of a button and include Ebay and Amazon, famous High Street names such as Marks and Spencers, Thorntons, HMV, Waterstones, Superdrug, J Samuel, Ernest Jones, etc and the catalogue giants Marshall Ward and Littlewoods.
For holidays and hotels we get commission from many companies including Butlins, Haven, Expedia, Laterooms.com, hotels.com and Superbreak. Car Hire is available from Hertz.
Commision rates vary from retailer to retailer, but typically average around 5%. Full details of which retailers are available and what commission they pay are available on the Spend & Raise site.
Extremely good commission can be earned from insurance policies and technology products such as mobile phones, Sky Digital, Broadband and utility suppliers.
